The DMV’s top voted “healthy meal and delivery prep company” is moving its headquarters to Maryland.

Vegetable and Butcher is relocating to a 32,000 square-foot space in Prince George’s County, where it plans to create 184 new full time jobs over the next three years.

The company’s subscription-based service offers two different types of chef-inspired meals and always provides dairy and gluten free recipes. Vegetable and Butcher currently delivers to approximately 150 zip codes throughout the area.

“The company has a strong commitment to working with farmers and growers while providing nourishing meals to families throughout the region,” said Governor Wes Moore. “Its mission is admirable and we are proud to have the company select Maryland for its new headquarters location.”
