A total of 111 Maryland businesses have been named among the fastest-growing companies in the country, according to the latest Inc. 5000 rankings.

The recent announcement, which includes industries ranging from IT services to software to financial services, features nine Maryland companies named among the top 500 in the nation. See the below list for details.

These 111 companies added more than 10,500 jobs to the state, with a median growth of 177 percent. Eight of these businesses were newly-formed and 78 businesses were repeat honorees on the Inc. 5000 list.

“We’re proud to see more than 100 local companies once again be named to the Inc. 5000 rankings,” said Maryland Commerce Secretary Kevin Anderson. “These fastest-growing companies are helping Maryland’s business community thrive, and we are thankful for their significant impact on the state’s economy.”
